By Joe Torosian Legendary Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Larry Brooks turns 72 today. Brooks, born in 1950, was drafted in the 14th round (#355-overall) by the Rams out of Virginia State. He played all his 11-seasons in Los Angeles. Starting 122 of 131 career games, he recorded 74.5 sacks playing alongside Jack Youngblood, Merlin Olsen, and Fred Dryer.  Two notes should be made about Brook’s career.
