1—Alabama (2-0): Tide didn’t deserve to win in Austin, but knows how to win.
2—Georgia (2-0): I’m gonna back off my anti-Stetsonism.
3—Ohio St. (2-0): C.J. Stroud has six touchdown passes in two games. Should get six against Toledo.
4—Clemson (2-0): Things don’t get serious until Wake Forest.
5—USC (2-0): Going to Fresno, and I’m still trying to remember that real big F-No win.
6—Penn St. (2-0): Can’t lose to Auburn this week and expected to be taken seriously.
7—Florida St. (2-0): We’ll find out about the Seminoles tonight in Louisville.
8—Texas (1-1): Contest with UTSA is a trap game. No matter who is at QB.
9—LSU (1-1): I still don’t know about this team.
10—Northwestern (1-1): Dublin was the high point.
11—Notre Dame (0-2): Lose to Cal at South Bend, and it’s curtains.
12—Indiana (2-0): Should they be taken seriously?
13—Purdue (1-1): I have no trust.
14—Georgia Tech (1-1): Going nowhere.
15—Nebraska (1-2): Well, the Frost is off.
16—Oregon (1-1): BYU is not Eastern Washington.
17—Illinois (2-1): That’s Tommy not Danny DeVito at QB.
18—Stanford: (1-1): Going nowhere.
